What affects the price

When you call for electrical help, a few things influence the final bill. The biggest factor is the scope of the project—swapping out a basic outlet is a quick task, while rewiring a room or upgrading an old panel requires much more labor and time. The age of your home also plays a role, as older wiring often needs extra care to meet current safety standards. Parts and material quality also change the total cost. About this service

An outlet extender, or box extender, is a sleeve used to bring a recessed outlet flush with a new wall surface, such as tile or drywall. You need this when you renovate a room and the existing outlet box is buried too deep behind the new finish. It ensures the outlet sits securely against the wall, preventing the internal wiring from pulling loose. This is a common safety upgrade during bathroom or kitchen remodels to meet building codes.
